Jordanians on Monday bid farewell to Dr. Mohammad Al-Qassous, known as the "Doctor of the Poor," who was killed in the terrorist attack on a church in the village of Hammoud in Karak Governorate last Friday.

The funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of the Presentation of the Lord in the Temple in Amman's Sweifieh neighborhood, with officials and members of the public in attendance.
His body was then transported to the Christian cemetery in Sahab, where he was laid to rest.
Father Alexios Qaqish, a priest of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese, expressed Jordanians' pride in His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
He also praised the security forces for swiftly apprehending those responsible for the terrorist attack, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding Jordan's security, stability, and national unity.
