AMMAN — The latest bulletin from Jordan's Department of
Statistics reported an increase in the number of registered professionals in
various fields, with 189,000 engineers and nearly 26,000 doctors leading the
surge.

According to the bulletin, Medical Association registration
saw 25,764 male and female doctors currently registered. Of these, 35.8 percent
are employed in the public sector, while 13.8 percent practice in the private
sector. Notably, 50.4 percent of the registered doctors fell under the category
of "others”.
Engineers Association numbersThe bulletin also highlighted a total of 188,921
professionals registered with the Engineers Association in the Kingdom.
Among these, 4,700 engineers are recognized as Arab engineers,
while 361 engineers are classified as foreign engineers.
Meanwhile, the Association of Agricultural Engineers boasts
a registration count of 18,922 members. Jordanian Bar Association: Upholding

In the legal field, the bulletin reported that 15,304
lawyers are currently registered with the Jordanian Bar Association.
