The Madrid exhibition is one of the largest international fairs, making it an ideal opportunity to showcase the quality of Jordanian olive oil to a global audience.

During the exhibition, NCAR Director General Nizar Haddad highlighted the importance of olive oil produced from the historical Al-Mahras cultivar and its historical value, as one of the oldest genetic olive genotypes in the Mediterranean basin.

Jordan's participation aimed to promote Al-Mahras olive on the global map and attract global investments for this sector, Zyoud said.

The head of the Jordan Olive Products Exporters Association (JOPEA), Fayyad Zyoud, said the exhibition is a global window for marketing the best olive oil varieties.

He noted that the six Jordanian companies that took part in the fair showcased high-quality products.
