AMMAN — Jordan Economic Conference 22 will commence next Sunday, as announced
by the organizing committee in a press statement on Wednesday. This year's
theme is "Jordan Web 3.0 Summit", and will be the first event of its
kind to be held in Jordan and the region, according to the Jordan News Agency,
Petra.

According to the statement, the
two-day conference will bring together a group of world experts with technical,
practical, and academic expertise in the field. In addition, the conference
will host investors, blockchain developers, digital cryptocurrency traders,
NFTs creators, fintech startups, DeFi & Dapp projects, among others.
Focus on Web
(3.0) innovationsThe organizing committee explained
that the conference's focus is on highlighting Web (3.0) initiatives,
innovations in crypto and blockchain technologies, NFTs and Metaverse trends,
and the future of decentralized finance.
The statement emphasized that a
"large" group of local, Arab, and international institutions, various
economic and energy sectors, banks, and financial and information technology
companies would participate in the conference.
