According to a hospital statement issued today, Tuesday, the reception of the children is part of the "Jordanian Medical Corridor" initiative, through which the Kingdom continues to provide aid to Gaza. Yesterday, Monday, the Jordanian Armed Forces evacuated the 28th batch of sick children from the Gaza Strip, which included 20 children and 40 companions, to be distributed among Jordanian hospitals for treatment.

The Director General of the Hospital, Dr. Nader Al-B soul, stated that this step reflects Jordan's keen interest, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, to provide medical and humanitarian support to the Palestinian brethren. He noted that the hospital has mobilized its medical capabilities and specialized personnel to provide the highest standards of healthcare for the children arriving from Gaza.

Al-B soul explained that the hospital has received approximately 57 children from the Gaza Strip since last August. A number of them have successfully completed their treatment phases, while others continue to receive medical care and follow-ups within the hospital. Furthermore, health services have been extended to include a number of the children's companions, as part of the commitment to providing integrated health and humanitarian care for the received cases.

He emphasized the hospital's continued commitment to fulfilling its medical and humanitarian role, thereby contributing to enhancing recovery opportunities and completing treatment for children and the wounded arriving from the Strip.
