The session aimed to introduce the local community and civil society institutions to the award and encourage active participation.

Tariq Al-Shayyab, the award’s liaison officer in Irbid, stated that the session is part of efforts to promote a culture of volunteerism and support impactful, sustainable volunteer initiatives. He emphasized the award's significance as it carries the name of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, giving it a special national and humanitarian value.

The session included an interactive presentation by trainer Yahya Ouda, who spoke about the award’s vision and mission in promoting excellence in voluntary work to serve the Jordanian community, expand its culture, enable individuals and institutions to apply excellence standards in their initiatives, and motivate and recognize volunteers.

He also provided an explanation of the award’s three categories: individual, group, and institutional — across various fields including social, health, education, sports, arts, culture, environment, tourism, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

The session witnessed active engagement from attendees, who shared suggestions and questions regarding the application requirements, registration process, target groups, and the types of voluntary work eligible for the award.
