Governorate free of locusts

The Director of Agriculture in Aqaba Governorate, Jamal Al-Oran, said that as of Sunday the governorate is officially free of any locusts.اضافة اعلان

He confirmed in a press statement that the operations took place in the Maan Governorate in the Mudawara region, in cooperation with a number of agricultural directorates and other specialized and supportive agencies, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

He added that the situation is reassuring and that the control teams plan to continue their work in the eastern and southern regions of the Kingdom where locusts are still present, and that there has been great cooperation between the various agencies concerned.
