This step reaffirms the role of women in the policing system across various fields, including areas once considered exclusive to men, thereby enhancing the quality of services provided to citizens throughout the Kingdom.
The Public Security Directorate emphasized that female police patrols in Amman have proven effective through their professional and humane handling of all cases, including those requiring direct intervention by female officers in the field. This success has paved the way for expanding their presence in other governorates, contributing to the strengthening of community security and reinforcing the concept of partnership with citizens.
It further stressed that this initiative is part of the Directorate’s ongoing plans to develop and expand security services in line with community needs, fulfilling its mission to maintain security and public order, safeguard citizens’ rights, and ensure their safety across all governorates of the Kingdom.
