FM, Spanish counterpart talk ties, upcoming conference

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi on  Tuesday received a phone call from Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, the EU and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares Bueno, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

The ministers discussed prospects of broader bilateral cooperation in various fields, within the partnership with the EU, and enhancing consultation on regional and international issues of common interest.

They also talked about preparations for an upcoming ministerial conference of the Union for the Mediterranean, which will be co-chaired by Jordan and the EU, and preparations for the next meeting of the Association Council between Jordan and the EU.

The ministers said they look forward to continuing joint coordination in the service of the two countries’ interests.
