FDA studying emergency use of Moderna vaccine

AMMAN — The manufacturing company of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine has submitted all necessary paperwork for the approval of the emergency use of the vaccine in Jordan, Director of the Jordan Food and Drugs Administration (JFDA) Nizar Mhiedat said on Saturday. Mheidat said that the inoculations and vaccines committee is currently examining the papers, expecting the process to conclude within two weeks.  More than 1.41 million people have received their first vaccine shot until last Saturday, while 490,000 people have received the second jab of the coronavirus vaccine, according to the National Center for Security and Crisis Management.
