Acting FM briefs EU ambassadors on Jerusalem developments

AMMAN — Acting minister of foreign affairs and expatriates Ali Al-Ayed on Monday met with the EU’s ambassadors to Jordan in Amman and briefed them on the latest developments in occupied Jerusalem.اضافة اعلان

Ayed said during the meeting that the acts of Israeli forces at Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram Al-Sharif is a crime, amounting to a brutal assault and blatant violation, stressing that such acts are “unacceptable and condemned,” a Foreign Ministry statement said.

He noted that Israel is continuing its violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalemites, in breach of international law, the historical and legal status quo, and Israel’s duty as an occupying force in East Jerusalem.
