According to the center, the tests are being carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC), and licensed telecom operators in the Kingdom to assess the system's readiness to issue alerts during crises, disasters, and emergency events.

The center urged citizens not to panic or worry upon receiving the test messages, clarifying that the alerts—sent in both Arabic and English—will be accompanied by an audible chime to capture citizens' attention and ensure immediate awareness.

It added that the wording of the experimental warning message will be simulated around dust storm scenarios.
