A total of 26 poets and seven hosts are participating in the Poets Committee at the 40th Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts, presenting poetry evenings on the Artemis Stage, located near the Street of Columns, according to the committee's head, Ali Al-Hawamdeh.

Al-Hawamdeh told Al Mamlaka that the committee consists of 33 members, including seven presenters.
He explained that it is a local committee formed by the Greater Jerash Municipality to give residents of the governorate an opportunity to take part in the festival's activities.
He added that the committee is presenting a seven-day poetry program on the Artemis Stage, which serves as a venue for poets and intellectuals.
The evenings have attracted audiences from across Jordan, as well as participants from several Arab countries.
Al-Hawamdeh noted that the poets have presented a wide variety of poetic styles, including classical Arabic poetry, free verse, prose poetry, and Nabati poetry.
He stressed that the Jerash Festival is a celebration of creativity and culture, with the majority of its events centered on cultural activities.
He also said that participation in the Jerash Festival provides many poets with opportunities to network with local and regional festivals, while helping discover new talent and promote cultural exchange between poets and audiences.
