Arab national teams participating in the 2026 FIFA World Cup earned a combined $81 million in prize money from FIFA, as part of the tournament's record-breaking $727 million prize pool—the largest in World Cup history.

FIFA introduced a new financial distribution model for the expanded 48-team tournament, allocating $655 million based on teams' performances, in addition to $72 million in preparation payments. Each of the 48 participating teams received $1.5 million as a preparation grant, bringing the total prize fund to $727 million.
Morocco led all Arab teams in earnings, collecting $20.5 million after reaching the quarterfinals. Egypt ranked second with $16.5 million following its run to the Round of 16, while Algeria earned $12.5 million after advancing to the Round of 32.
Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and Jordan each received $10.5 million, the amount awarded to teams eliminated in the group stage. This represents the minimum guaranteed prize for every nation that qualified for the tournament.
The 2026 edition recorded the largest financial increase in World Cup history, with total prize money rising by more than 50 percent compared with the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, reflecting the tournament's expansion to 48 teams and FIFA's efforts to boost financial returns for participating national associations.
Among the top finishers, world champions Spain received $50 million in prize money, runners-up Argentina earned $33 million, third-place England collected $29 million, and fourth-place France received $27 million.
Including the $1.5 million preparation payment, Spain's total earnings reached $51.5 million, Argentina's $34.5 million, England's $30.5 million, and France's $28.5 million, all drawn from FIFA's record $727 million prize fund for the 2026 World Cup.
