Empowering Jordanian youth is a priority — Nabulsi

AMMAN — Youth Minister Mohammad Salamah Al-Nabulsi affirmed that empowering, and building the youth’s capacities in line with labor market requirements is a priority for the ministry and a key focus of the National Youth Strategy, according to Al-Saa News.اضافة اعلان

The comment was made at the closing session of the Job Search Club Initiative, implemented through the Business Development Center (BDC) in partnership with the ministry of youth, UNICEF and the International Labor Organization (ILO), in the presence of the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Netherlands, Pier de-Vries.

The ministry works in partnership with various official institutions, international organizations and civil society to prepare, train and enables the youth to enter the labor market the minister said in his closing remarks.

De-Vries said that the “PROSECTS” partnership, is a program focused on supporting Jordanians, refugees, women and vulnerable youth. He voiced his happiness on the participation of 400 young people in the program.
