Eastern Military District thwarts smuggling attempt

AMMAN — A military source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) said on Tuesday that the Eastern Military Region thwarted an infiltration attempt from Syria into Jordan, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

The source added that, following an inspection of the area, large quantities of narcotics were seized.

The source underlined that the JAF will deal firmly and decisively with any infiltration or smuggling attempts, protect the borders, and thwart any who would tamper with Jordan’s national security.
