Army forces smugglers back into Syria, seizes drugs

AMMAN — The Northern Military Zone and other security agencies recently thwarted an attempt to smuggle drugs and weapons into the Kingdom, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

A Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army source said that border guards applied the rules of engagement and forced the smugglers back into Syria.

After searching the area, 497 palm-sized sheets of hashish, 61,000 captagon pills, 4kg of crystal meth, and a number of weapons were seized, the source added.
