The unemployment rate among Jordanian males reached 17.2% during the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2025, marking a decrease of 1.0 percentage point compared to Q4 2024, and a decline of 0.8 percentage points from the previous quarter (Q3 2025).اضافة اعلان

According to the Department of Statistics, the unemployment rate among Jordanians has decreased by 1.7 percentage points over the past three years compared to the same quarter in 2022. Additionally, the rate for Jordanian males has fallen by 4.2 percentage points since 2021.

Total Population Unemployment (Jordanians & Non-Jordanians)
The overall unemployment rate for the total population stood at 16.1% in Q4 2025, a decrease of 0.8 percentage points from Q4 2024 (16.9%) and a slight dip of 0.1 percentage points from Q3 2025.

For the male population (Jordanians and non-Jordanians), the rate was 13.8% in Q4 2025, down by 1.4 percentage points year-on-year and 0.2 percentage points quarter-on-quarter.

Youth and Gender Trends (Age 15+)
The unemployment rate for Jordanians aged 15 and older reached 21.2% in Q4 2025, showing minor declines compared to Q4 2024 (21.3%) and Q3 2025 (21.4%).

However, the rate among Jordanian females rose to 34.8% in Q4 2025, an increase of 2.6 percentage points compared to Q4 2024 and 0.9 percentage points higher than the previous quarter.

Non-Jordanian Population
The unemployment rate among the non-Jordanian population as a whole was 9.2% during the fourth quarter of 2025. Specifically, for those aged 24 and above, the rate was 5.6% (6.2% for males and 2.7% for females).
