Delegation of World Bank executive directors visits Jordan Museum

AMMAN — Jordan Museum’s Director General Ihab Amarin and senior museum staff welcomed the World Bank’s executive directors delegation led by Mirza Hasan on Saturday,  according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

Amarin briefed the delegation on the museum’s operations on several parallel tracks to achieve the Royal vision and the museum’s mission as a national center for the presentation and preservation of Jordan’s rich cultural heritage.

In addition, Amarin said the museum also functions as an educational platform, a conservation and research center, and an exciting Jordanian tourist destination, which qualifies is as Jordan’s national tourist gateway.

At the end of the visit, Hasan expressed appreciation for the museum, saying that it enriched the delegation’s knowledge of Jordan’s role in the development of civilization throughout the ages.
