As the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan celebrates its 79th anniversary of independence, Minister of Government Communication Mohammed Momani said, "We are living proud days."

Momani continued in a social media video clip on Sunday in honor of Independence Day: "On this national occasion, dear to the hearts of all Jordanians, we remember the depth of Jordanian national identity and the unity of the nation in the face of challenges."
He went on: "Jordan's independence was and will continue to be the most significant turning point in our nation's history. It served as the foundation for all the advancements and successes that have been made over the years in a variety of fields, in a setting of stability and modernization, and it sent a message of peace and moderation to the rest of the world."
He confirmed that Jordan will carry on with its construction and labor path.
The minister continued: "We move forward with confidence, drawing determination from a wise leadership with a comprehensive vision that enhances achievement and opens future horizons for future generations, under the leadership of the Dean of the Jordanian House, His Majesty King Abdullah II, and his loyal Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II."
