Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court Youssef Al-Issawi sponsors the ceremony honoring the winners of the leading activist award from the leadership positions organized by the Knights of change Association.

The Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court, Youssef Hassan Al-Issawi, sponsored last, Thursday, the ceremony honoring the winners of the "leading activists from leadership jobs" award for the year 2025, organized by the Knights of change Association for political development and civil society development, in the presence of political, economic and academic figures.
The ceremony began with the Royal Peace played by the music of the armed forces, followed by a fragrant recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a speech by the president of the association, engineer Mohannad Abbas hadadin, welcoming the sponsor of the ceremony and the attendees.
Haddadin said that the launch of the award comes as an expression and embodiment of His Majesty King Abdullah II's visions of the importance of honoring the distinguished official, to enhance the culture of achievement and motivate Jordanian leaders to compete in excellence and provide the best through the management and leadership of their institutions and companies, which reflects positively on those institutions and contributes to supporting the Jordanian economy.
He added that a specialized evaluation committee of competencies and experienced people has been formed in the association, headed by Dr. Ikhlas Abu sharakh, Dr. Abdel Fattah al-Hayek, and Ms. Hanadi Al-Manaseer, to take over the task of nominating competitors, evaluating and sorting the results of the competition, where five leading figures were nominated for each award in secret, based on the study of their performance during the year 2025 and the achievements achieved in their institutions.
The award covered three main sectors: Education, Companies and Women.
In the education sector, the president of the University of Jordan, Dr. Nazir Obeidat, who made a qualitative leap that combines the authenticity of the academic legacy and the requirements of the digital age, won, as the university achieved an unprecedented global achievement by advancing to the 324th place globally in the QS ranking for 2026, an increase of 44 places, in addition to launching the largest project to digitize educational content in the Middle East, and obtaining a rating among the top 350 universities globally, and the first locally in the quality of education and scientific research.
In terms of financial management, the university has achieved a historic achievement with the"zeroing of indebtedness", with continued capital spending on major projects, and a comprehensive modernization of construction and technical facilities to enhance a smart and sustainable educational environment.
As for the Companies award, it was won by Jordanian businessman Michel Sayegh, in recognition of his role and contribution to advancing the national economy through quality and pioneering projects, including investments worth more than 120 million dinars to establish an educational medical university and an educational hospital in Aqaba, in support of the education and health sectors.
In addition to his successful leadership of the Sayegh group of companies, which includes Roya Media Group, Jordan Commercial Bank, and National Paints holding company, which together contribute to creating hundreds of jobs and promoting local economic growth.
As for the women's award, it was won by the secretary general of the Jordanian Football Federation, Samar Nassar, in recognition of the achievements achieved for the Jordanian national football team, represented by obtaining the Asian summer 2023, as well as the summer of the Arab Cup "FIFA" 2025, in addition to the historic qualification for the first time to the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Al-Issawi, the sponsor of the ceremony, presented the awards to the winners in a manner that reflected the high level of organization and professionalism, in a festive atmosphere that embodied the appreciation of achievement and excellence.

Speaking about the association, Haddadin said that the association has developed its plans, strategies and programs for the next stage, guided by the thought of His Majesty King Abdullah II, through the Amman Message, his seven discussion papers, and the three political, economic and administrative modernization tracks implemented by the government, in addition to the follow-up and supervision of youth by His Majesty Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, with the aim of qualifying them and enhancing their participation in various fields.
He added that the association implements technological projects, applications and digital platforms to highlight the Jordanian narrative, which is of interest to His Highness The Crown Prince, through partnerships with the public and private sectors.
As part of these efforts, he pointed out that one of the young men of the Knights of change Association (Issa Al-Adili), founded a new-generation social media platform PointZero (similar to Facebook and Instagram) powered by artificial intelligence and is scheduled to be launched this summer, so that the Arabic voice can be heard.
Haddadin stressed that in light of the geopolitical tensions and wars in the region, the importance of fortifying the home front, strengthening the rapprochement around the Hashemite leadership, the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, the security services, and faith in the ability of Jordanian youth to create a promising future is highlighted.
He pointed to the need to highlight Jordanian positions, defend the national narrative, and counter any attempts to undermine Jordan's Arab, regional, and international role, especially with regard to the Palestinian issue, defend the Hashemite guardianship of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Al-Quds Al-Sharif, and His Majesty The King's pivotal role in achieving regional balance and avoiding involvement in conflicts.
He pointed to the role of Her Majesty Queen Rania Abdullah in empowering women and developing education, as well as her efforts in international forums to support Just Causes and highlight the suffering of the Palestinian people, especially during the aggression on Gaza.
The ceremony, which was moderated by Dr. Khatam al-Abadi, vice president of the association, included short videos about the winners and another about the association and the award, in addition to musical segments presented by the music of the Jordanian Armed Forces and art presented by the Jordanian National Band Ashbal.
At the end of the ceremony, the president of the association, engineer Haddadin, honored the sponsor of the ceremony, Yusuf al-Issawi, by awarding him the honorary award for the best "activist entrepreneur" for the year 2025, in recognition of his efforts in serving the homeland, implementing royal directives, and enhancing communication with citizens throughout the kingdom.
It is noteworthy that the Knights of change Association is a National Youth Association registered with the Ministry of political and parliamentary affairs, with a membership of more than 64 thousand young men and girls, and works to implement initiatives and programs that contribute to the empowerment of youth and women, support the national economy, enhance community participation, as well as the implementation of quality projects that provide job opportunities through partnership with the private sector.
