Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya met on Tuesday with students enrolled in the master’s program at the Royal Police Academy during a strategic dialogue session dedicated to discussing key security challenges amid current security conditions and ongoing regional and domestic developments.

During the meeting, Al-Faraya stressed that Jordan’s stability and security remain a top national priority, requiring continuous vigilance and a high level of preparedness to deal with evolving circumstances.
The minister reviewed several contemporary security challenges, noting that the nature of threats has become increasingly sophisticated and fast-moving, requiring a security response based on foresight, strategic planning, and well-coordinated intelligence and field operations.
He emphasized the important role of postgraduate students at the Royal Police Academy, urging them to direct their research and academic studies toward analyzing the current security landscape and developing innovative, evidence-based recommendations and solutions that can support security decision-makers and strengthen the country’s internal front.
Al-Faraya added that the Public Security Directorate, across its various divisions, relies heavily on academic output and qualified young leadership capable of deeply understanding the security environment and responding professionally to different challenges, in a manner that upholds the rule of law and protects national resources and citizens.
At the conclusion of the session, the minister held an extended discussion with the students, listening to their analytical perspectives on a number of security issues, praising their level of awareness and understanding, and commending the Royal Police Academy’s role in preparing and developing national talent.
