Public Security Director Major General Dr. Obaidullah Al-Ma'aytah received, on Wednesday, at the Directorate's headquarters, the Commander of the National Guard of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, Staff Major General Saleh Mohammed bin Mijren Al-Ameri, along with his accompanying delegation, as part of strengthening bilateral relations and developing security cooperation between the two brotherly countries.اضافة اعلان

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance the level of joint cooperation, and mechanisms for developing security work and expanding areas of training, expertise, and specialized technology exchange, in a way that contributes to raising performance efficiency and strengthening security readiness and coordination in facing various shared challenges.

Major General Al-Ma'aytah affirmed the depth of the brotherly and strategic relations between the Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, and the support and patronage they receive from the leaderships of both sisterly countries, pointing to the importance of building on the partnerships and cooperation achieved so far, and developing them in ways that serve mutual interests and enhance security and stability.

He explained that the Public Security Directorate, under high royal directives, continues to strengthen its partnerships with security agencies in sisterly and friendly countries, and to benefit from the expertise gained, which reflects positively on performance efficiency and readiness, and on developing the security and humanitarian services provided to citizens.

For his part, Staff Major General Al-Ameri affirmed the importance of continuing to develop joint programs in the fields of training, qualification, and modern security technologies, in a way that strengthens institutional capacity-building and raises the efficiency of security agencies and their ability to deal with various security changes and challenges.

The UAE National Guard Commander praised the advanced level reached by the Public Security Directorate, and its specialized expertise and competencies, as well as the development of its operational, technical, and service systems, affirming the importance of continued cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two sides.

The visiting delegation listened to a briefing presented by the Director of Planning and International Cooperation on the most prominent strategic focuses of the Public Security Directorate and its priorities in developing the security work system and raising the efficiency of human resources, in addition to the most important development programs and projects being implemented by the Directorate.

The Public Security Director and the visiting delegation toured the Directorate of Operations and Control, and were briefed on the latest technologies and technical and technological systems used in the command and control center.

The Director of Operations and Control also gave a briefing on the management of security operations, and the deployment of modern technology in supporting field decision-making, and its importance in enhancing rapid response within an integrated security system that operates around the clock with efficiency and effectiveness.
