8000 heaters will be distributed to all schools across Kingdom

On Wednesday, Minister of Education Wajih Owais said that the ministry won't back away from the in-class education while urging everyone to adhere to the health protocol that ensures a safe and healthy environment in schools.اضافة اعلان

According to a ministry statement, the minister’s remarks came during a meeting with the ministry's extended planning committee.

Owais called for adhering to the ministry's circulars issued to education directors, which stress the need to meet conditions and requirements of public safety in all schools, and take all necessary measures under their mandates.

He underlined the importance of emphasizing public hygiene in schools, especially water tanks and sanitary facilities, calling on school principals to raise awareness and health culture among students through student councils, student parliaments, extracurricular activities, and school radios.

Owais announced that the ministry will provide about 8,000 new heaters that will be distributed to all schools in the Kingdom, underscoring the need to clean the water drains, windows, doors, and school facilities to prepare for winter, to ensure a safe school environment for students and teachers inside the school, its facilities, and outdoor yards.
