Under the patronage of HRH Prince Omar bin Faisal, President of the Jordanian Esports Federation, Hover Up company will launch Jordan’s first FPV drone racing event at the Dead Sea this Friday.

This pioneering event aims to position Jordan on the global map of tech-based sports, paving the way for the institutionalization of drone racing locally and strengthening the Kingdom’s role as a regional hub for innovation in this rapidly growing field.
The race presents an opportunity for Jordanian youth to develop their skills in drone flight and autonomous control technologies, aligning with international standards for this emerging futuristic sport.
A total of 50 young men and women, selected from more than 850 applicants aged 14 and above, will compete in a race that blends virtual and real-world experiences.
The first qualifying round took place at The King Hussein Business Park (The ARC), where participants competed using professional drone flight simulators, leading up to the finals, scheduled from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Dead Sea.
