Spain’s Attorney General Forms Investigative Team on “International Law Violations” in Gaza
Spain’s Attorney General has issued a decree forming a task force to investigate “violations of international human rights law” in the Gaza Strip, as part of Madrid’s commitments to international cooperation, including with the International Criminal Court (ICC) and in matters of human rights, the Spanish Public Prosecutor’s Office announced Thursday.اضافة اعلان

The prosecutor’s office stated that Spain will open an investigation into “human rights violations” in Gaza in coordination with the ICC.

In its statement, the office explained: “The State Attorney General has issued a decree establishing a task force to investigate violations of international human rights law in Gaza, with the aim of collecting evidence and making it available to the competent authorities, thereby fulfilling Spain’s obligations regarding international cooperation and human rights.”
