Putin Reaffirms Russia’s Support for Syria’s Unity

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday reaffirmed Russia’s support for Syria’s unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity during a phone call with Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa.اضافة اعلان

The Kremlin said in a statement following the call that the two leaders expressed their readiness to deepen political dialogue and cooperation in trade, economic, humanitarian and other areas.

During discussions on the situation in Syria, Putin reiterated Russia’s “principled position” in support of the country’s unity, territorial integrity and sovereignty, while stressing the importance of creating conditions for long-term stability and post-conflict reconstruction.
