Water Ministry and Water Authority teams, in cooperation with Miyahuna, the Ministry of Interior and the Public Security Directorate, represented by Al-Jiza Security Center and the Royal Department for Environment Protection, detected eight violations involving water transmission lines in the Umm Al-Rasas area on Tuesday.

One of the violations involved illegally supplying water to an agricultural pond and a farm in Naour.
Illegal Connections Supplying Farms and Ponds
The violations involved installing water pipelines of various diameters through unauthorized methods to supply large farms, water ponds and collection wells.
The operation was carried out as part of an ongoing inspection campaign aimed at tightening control over water sources and curbing illegal encroachments on the Kingdom’s water network.
Violations Removed, Legal Action Underway
The detected illegal connections were removed, while official records documenting the violations were prepared in preparation for taking legal action against those responsible in accordance with applicable legislation.
