The State Emergency Service of Ukraine announced on Wednesday that one person was killed and seven others were injured following a Russian attack targeting residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia at dawn today.

The Emergency Service noted in a statement that four people were killed by Russian drone fire that targeted a bus carrying civilians in the southern Kherson region, according to Reuters.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that its forces continue to launch drone attacks on naval vessels and port infrastructure in Ukraine that are being utilized by Ukrainian forces.
The Russian MoD added in a statement that its forces also targeted a cargo ship carrying military-spec freight on Tuesday evening, southeast of Odesa in the Black Sea.
Additionally, fuel and lubricant storage tanks designated for the Armed Forces of Ukraine were targeted at the Port of Chornomorsk.
