Famous Spanish coach Pep Guardiola reaffirmed his support for just humanitarian causes and his backing of the Palestinian people against the ongoing war in Gaza.

Guardiola, the Manchester City manager, is well-known for his outspoken support for Palestinians, which he has highlighted in numerous statements. His family is also considered strong supporters of Gaza.
A video circulating on social media shows Guardiola calling for support of the “Freedom Flotilla,” which recently set sail toward Gaza to break the blockade and deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinians.
In the video, shared by the Palestinian community in Catalonia along with several other public figures, Guardiola said: “We are witnessing a real genocide, with thousands of children already dead and more at risk.”
He added: “Gaza is destroyed, and crowds of people are left without shelter, food, water, or medicine.”
He continued: “Only organized civil society can save lives and pressure governments to act decisively.”
Several European national teams, including Spain, have called for Israel to be excluded from the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
