The UAE Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that its air defense systems detected 17 ballistic missiles, 16 of which were successfully destroyed, while one fell into the sea. Additionally, 117 drones were detected; 113 were intercepted, while 4 drones fell within UAE territory.

Cumulative Defense Statistics
In an official statement, the Ministry provided a comprehensive update on the defense operations since the beginning of the Iranian aggression:
Ballistic Missiles: 238 missiles detected in total; 221 destroyed, 15 fell at sea, and 2 landed within the state’s territory.
Drones: 1,422 Iranian drones detected; 1,342 intercepted, while 80 fell within the country.
Cruise Missiles: 8 cruise missiles detected and successfully destroyed.
Casualties and Injuries
The Ministry reported that these attacks have resulted in 4 fatalities of Pakistani, Nepalese, and Bangladeshi nationalities. Furthermore, 112 individuals sustained moderate to minor injuries. The injured include citizens of various nationalities, including:
Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comorian, and Turkish.
Commitment to Sovereignty
The UAE Ministry of Defense reaffirmed that it remains on high alert and fully prepared to deal with any threats. The statement emphasized that the military will respond firmly to any attempts to destabilize the state’s security, ensuring the protection of its sovereignty, interests, and national assets.
