Palestinian Cause Before UN Security Council Today

The Deputy UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Ramiz Alakbarov, is expected to brief the council members. According to the Security Council presidency for the current month, the session will review the Secretary-General's report on the implementation of UN Resolution 2334, which demands an immediate and complete cessation of all Israeli settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem.
