Medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported that 929 Palestinians have been martyred since the declared ceasefire agreement took effect on October 10, 2025.

The sources explained that among the martyrs are 247 children and 191 women, reflecting the ongoing targeting of civilians.
They added that last April was the bloodiest month since the beginning of the truce, with approximately 117 martyrs recorded, compared to 79 martyrs in March. They emphasized that the pace of bombardment and the rising number of casualties have accelerated rapidly during the current month of May.
Furthermore, the sources warned that the health sector is experiencing catastrophic conditions due to the ongoing blockade and the restriction on the entry of medicines and medical supplies, which exacerbates the suffering of the sick and wounded. — (WAFA)
