Noticeable Improvement: Israel Issues First Comment on Hamas' Response to Gaza Negotiations

Speaking to the American news outlet Axios, the official stated that the response delivered to mediators last night is better than the one Hamas submitted last Tuesday.

“There is an improvement in Hamas’ response compared to yesterday... Now we have something to work with,” the Israeli official said, indicating that the new response opens the door to continuing negotiations.

Early Thursday, Hamas confirmed that it had handed over its response to mediators regarding the ceasefire proposal in Gaza, as well as the collective response of the Palestinian factions on the same matter. (Agencies)
