According to our correspondent in Lebanon, the list was submitted by the Lebanese Association of Prisoners and Released Detainees to President Joseph Aoun. It includes 23 Lebanese nationals, three of whom were captured before the war.

The list also indicates that 11 Lebanese were taken prisoner during the war and Israeli incursions into villages and towns in southern Lebanon, most in the town of Aita al-Shaab, and two in the towns of Blida and Batroun in northern Lebanon.

Notably, nine of the 23 prisoners were arrested after the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel came into effect, from within their villages in southern Lebanon.
