The Israeli army said on Thursday that it detected the fall of two "projectiles" near an area where Israeli occupation forces are operating in southern Lebanon, following the sounding of sirens in several areas across northern Israel.

Earlier, the army reported that the Home Front Command issued a preemptive directive after detecting launches from Lebanon toward several residential communities in northern Israel, urging residents to enter safe zones.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Thursday that it had targeted military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain in response to the recent U.S. strikes.
A statement by the IRGC published by the official IRNA news agency said: "During two waves of operations, we struck 18 vital targets belonging to the evil U.S. military at the Ali Al Salem and Ahmad Al Jaber air bases," adding that it had also attacked the Sheikh Isa Air Base, which was "hit and destroyed."
Iranian media had previously reported that Iran attacked the U.S. Fifth Fleet based in Bahrain.
The U.S. military announced on Wednesday that it had launched "defensive strikes" against Iran. U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stated on Wednesday that the upcoming strikes against Iran would be "strong" and "clear," indicating that the military operation could extend into a second night.
Speaking to reporters at the U.S. Central Command headquarters in Tampa, Florida, Hegseth said, "The strikes that will happen tonight will be strong, and they will be clear. And if they happen tomorrow night, they will be strong, and they will be clear."
For his part, U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that the United States would launch a "very powerful" attack on Iran if a peace agreement could not be reached, while also stating that his country is obtaining oil from Iran.
"We will attack them, and it will be very powerful," Trump told reporters at the White House, referring to Iran's downing of an Apache helicopter in the Strait of Hormuz.
