Temperatures are forecast to remain slightly above their seasonal averages, with relatively hot conditions prevailing across most parts of Jordan. Weather will be very hot in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba areas.

Winds will be northwesterly and moderate in speed, occasionally becoming active in the Badia.

Highs and lows in eastern Amman will range between 35°C and 23°C, compared with 33°C and 21°C in western Amman. Temperatures will range between 31°C and 19°C in the northern highlands, 30°C and 18°C in the Sharah Mountains, and 40°C and 25°C in the Badia.

In the plains, temperatures will range between 35°C and 24°C, while the northern Jordan Valley will see highs of 41°C and lows of 27°C. In the southern Jordan Valley, temperatures will range between 42°C and 31°C, compared with 41°C and 30°C at the Dead Sea and 42°C and 29°C in Aqaba.

The relatively hot conditions are expected to persist through Thursday in most areas, with very hot weather continuing in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Winds will remain moderate and northwesterly.

At night, temperatures will be moderate in most areas, while relatively warm conditions will persist in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Winds will be light and northwesterly, according to a report by the Jordan Meteorological Department.
