The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission revealed that the Israeli occupation authorities have seized more than 70 dunams of land for military and security purposes in the villages of Qaryut, Eastern Lubban, and As-Sawiya in Nablus Governorate, to establish a buffer zone around the "Eli" settlement.

According to the commission, the military order, numbered T/136/25, is valid until December 31, 2027 from the date of signing. However, the attachments indicate that objections were allowed within one week of the order’s issuance. The order itself is dated September 21, 2025, meaning the Israeli authorities published the military order after the objection period had expired.
The total area specified in the order amounts to 70 dunams and 147 square meters, of which 15.778 dunams were originally classified as state lands allocated for the military order, while the occupation authorities seized 54.368 dunams under the new order.
The commission’s data also indicated that since the beginning of 2025, Israel has issued a total of 53 military seizure orders for various purposes, reflecting a significant increase in the use of such orders under military pretexts to control Palestinian lands.
