In a statement, the IRGC explained that it launched a mix of ballistic missiles, while Hezbollah deployed what it described as "attack drones and rockets."

The statement noted that the strikes targeted sites "throughout the occupied territories," describing the operation as a "coordinated and integrated attack that dealt painful blows" to Israeli military bases, spanning from Haifa in the north to Tel Aviv in central Israel and Beersheba in the south.

The Israeli military had previously announced that Iran and Hezbollah carried out a "coordinated missile attack" targeting central Israel.
