IOF incur heavy losses in Southern Gaza; Al-Qassam Brigades thwart mission

GAZA — On Tuesday, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) reported the killing of four occupation officers and its soldiers in battles that took place on Monday night in the southern Gaza Strip, Al-Ghad reported. This comes hours after Israeli occupation sources said that Monday was the ‘toughest day since the beginning of the war on the strip.’ It added that nine occupation officers were killed, and many others injured in two separate attacks in the past 24 hours. اضافة اعلان

One of the attacks was caused by the explosion of ammunition in a truck, the sources added, leading to the killing and injuring of soldiers, while the other resulted from the shelling of a building where soldiers were located in the southern part of the strip.

Meanwhile, Israeli Channel 12 reported that a sergeant in the Givati Brigade Staff Bisha died of a heart attack after the soldiers under his command were killed in the strip, quoting the acquaintances of the Israeli sergeant saying, “His death resulted from his inability to bear what he saw in Gaza.”

Additionally, Al-Qassam Brigades reported the attacks, stating that it thwarted an Israeli attempt to free one of the captives in the Bureij camp after a special force infiltrated the place. The force was confronted, its mission was thwarted, and clashes occurred. Another statement stated that its fighters targeted an IOF special force inside a house near the station area in the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza with an anti-personnel missile, causing casualties among its members.
