Israeli occupation forces conduct mass arrests in West Bank

OCCUPIED WEST BANK — On Sunday evening, Israeli occupation forces conducted a new raid in the occupied West Bank. At the Qalandia military checkpoint, a young man sustained injuries when local sources reported that the occupation forces opened fire on him while he was riding a motorcycle, resulting in an abdominal injury. He was subsequently transported to the Palestinian Medical Complex in Ramallah for treatment. Simultaneously, Israeli occupation forces carried out arrests, including the detention of a child from the Shuafat refugee camp northeast of Jerusalem and a resident of Al-Eizariya.اضافة اعلان

Over 1,200 Palestinians have been arrested by Israeli forces in the West Bank
Since October 7, over 1,200 Palestinians have been arrested by IOF in the West Bank with more than 110 individuals killed, Palestinian news agency, WAFA reported.


In Shuafat, occupation forces entered the Ras Khamis neighborhood and arrested a child named Faisal Rashak after conducting a raid on his family's home and performing a search. Furthermore, in Al-Eizariya, the Israeli occupation forces detained a local resident named Ata Yassin Jabr.

Arrests in Nablus
In a separate series of incidents, occupation forces conducted arrests in the Nablus governorate on Monday morning. They entered several neighborhoods in the city of Nablus, conducted raids on multiple homes, and arrested five citizens, including Nasser Al-Din Al-Shaer from Al-Muajineh neighborhood, Omar Al-Hanbali from the Zawata area, Iyad Abu Zahra from the northern mountain area, Khalid Al-Sawsa, and Zaheer Musa. Additionally, the occupation forces entered the village of Kafr Qalil, south of Nablus, and arrested journalist Nawaf Al-Amer after raiding his home. They also detained a young man named Qutaiba Hamadneh from the northern village of Aqraba, who was at his home during the arrest.

Occupation forces conducted searches and confiscated Palestinian flags

The occupation forces also targeted several houses in the town of Hawara, south of Nablus, conducting searches and confiscating Palestinian flags displayed in these homes.

Furthermore, they carried out a campaign of arrests in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, detaining 18 citizens, including a young woman. Among those arrested were individuals previously detained, such as Muhammad Saleh Alian and Muhammad Ghanem from the Jalazone camp. They also arrested Fadi Naeef Alian and Fadi Jamal Darwish.


In Deir Abu Mish'al, west of Ramallah, they detained Shada Al-Barghouti, a young woman, after raiding her family's home. In the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, 12 young men were arrested, including Awni Faris, Musa Hamed, Saif Khalil Azat, Asaad Hasnin Khazneh, Baraa Ahmad Khalid, Jumaa Hasan Hammad, Baraa Muhammad Al-Saify, Suhaib Imad Al-Sharab, Fareed Hammad, and Mamoun Mahmoud Hammad. The two brothers, Muhammad and Abdel Rahman Raed Hammad, were also among those detained.

In the village of Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya, east of Ramallah, the occupation forces arrested the youth Abdul Hafez Ouni Zaban and the previously released prisoner Ashraf Wadi Saad, as well as Yousef Abdel Wadi. Additionally, they carried out arrests in the town of Beitunya west of Ramallah and stormed the village of Jifna north of Ramallah.
