Medical sources announced on Monday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 64,522 martyrs, the majority of whom are women and children, since the start of the Israeli occupation’s aggression on October 7, 2023.اضافة اعلان

The sources added that the number of injuries has reached 163,096 since the beginning of the assault, while many victims remain trapped under the rubble, with ambulance and civil defense teams unable to reach them.

They noted that 67 martyrs (including two recovered from under the rubble) and 320 new injuries arrived at Gaza hospitals during the past 24 hours. Since March 18, following Israel’s violation of the ceasefire agreement, the toll has reached 11,976 martyrs and 51,055 wounded.

The sources also explained that in the past 24 hours alone, 14 martyrs and 85 injuries from aid convoys were recorded, raising the total number of martyrs killed while seeking food aid to 2,430, and the number of related injuries to 17,794.

In addition, Gaza hospitals documented six new deaths in the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition, including two children, bringing the total number of such deaths to 393, among them 140 children.

Since the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) declared famine in Gaza, 115 famine-related deaths have been recorded, including 25 children.
