2,425 Palestinians arrested since October 7

GAZA – The tally of arrests since the onset of the war on Gaza on October 7th surged to 2,425 Palestinians from the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Gaza, according to Al-Ghad newspaper. اضافة اعلان

This count encompasses individuals who were arrested from their homes, at military checkpoints, those who surrendered under pressure, and hostages. The Palestinian Prisoners' Club reported today, Saturday, that the Israeli occupation detained 25 Palestinians, including children, in the occupied West Bank in the early hours of the morning.

According to the club's statement, the arrest operations were concentrated in the town of Idhna/Hebron, while the remaining detentions were spread across the governorates of Nablus, Ramallah, Jerusalem, Tulkarm, and Bethlehem.

The arrest campaign was accompanied by widespread humiliation, brutal beatings, threats against the detainees and their families, in addition to extensive acts of sabotage and destruction in the homes of Palestinian citizens and the taking of civilians as hostages.
