The sources indicated that the total death toll from famine and malnutrition has risen to 313, including 119 children.
They added that malnutrition and famine cases continue to arrive at hospitals in Gaza, with 900,000 children suffering from hunger, of whom 70,000 have reached the stage of malnutrition.
The sources stressed that the lives of diabetic and kidney patients are at risk due to malnutrition, exposing them to severe attacks resulting from the starvation imposed by the Israeli occupation on Gaza residents.
They also highlighted that 17,000 children are suffering from severe acute malnutrition, and hospitals are treating patients experiencing fatigue and memory loss caused by extreme hunger, while medical beds and medicines are insufficient to meet the massive number of patients with severe malnutrition.
Earlier, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned that malnutrition among children under five has doubled between March and June due to the Israeli blockade on Gaza.
UNRWA noted that its health centers and medical points conducted nearly 74,000 nutrition screenings during this period, identifying approximately 5,500 cases of severe acute malnutrition and over 800 cases of critical acute malnutrition.
