AMMAN — Tennis player Malik Al-Qurna is
set to participate in the Junior Championships, Wimbledon in London on July 11,
according to a press statement by the Jordan Tennis Federation (JTF).
He departed for the UK on Sunday, accompanied by JTF
President Khaled Nafaa.
Participants in the Junior Championships are aged
14–18, according to the Wimbledon website. While players aren’t eligible for
prize money, their ranking points count towards their international junior
ranking.
