Jordan's Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Yarub Qudah, reaffirmed on Thursday that Jordan is a trusted destination for investment, highlighting the resilience of the Jordanian economy and its continued growth despite regional challenges.

He also pointed to the Kingdom's stable fiscal policy and extensive network of free trade agreements.
Qudah made the remarks during the opening session of the Jordan–UK Business Forum in London, held in the presence of His Majesty King Abdullah II and attended by representatives from a wide range of business sectors from both countries.
The forum brought together more than 40 Jordanian companies and 60 British companies representing diverse industries. It aims to explore opportunities for expanding cooperation across the commercial, industrial, and service sectors, showcase Jordan's investment opportunities and competitive advantages, increase bilateral trade, and foster long-term strategic business and industrial partnerships between Jordanian and British companies.
Minister of Investment Dr. Tareq Abu Ghazaleh also delivered a presentation outlining key indicators of Jordan's economic performance and the strengths of the country's business environment.
He highlighted investment incentives available in Jordan's development and industrial zones, where total investments have reached US$9.1 billion.
Abu Ghazaleh also discussed investment opportunities in infrastructure and transportation, sustainable energy, food manufacturing, fertilizers and chemicals, mining, and information and communications technology (ICT).
Meanwhile, Fathi Al-Jaghbir, President of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, stressed the importance of elevating Jordanian-British economic relations into a comprehensive economic partnership that would create added value and strengthen the competitiveness of priority sectors in both countries.
For his part, Michael Mainelli, President of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, praised the competitiveness of Jordanian industries and emphasized that the forum provides an important opportunity for private-sector representatives from both countries to explore new avenues for expanding trade cooperation and building partnerships that capitalize on the strengths of Jordan's industrial sector.
