The Chairman of the Syrian-Jordanian Business Council, Imad Al-Bann, stated on Thursday that the decision issued by the Ministry of Interior expanding facilities granted to Syrian investors and businesspeople allows the spouses and children under the age of eighteen of investors and businesspeople to enter the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan without requiring prior approval.

Al-Bann commended the Ministry of Interior’s decision to expand the facilities provided to Syrian investors and businesspeople holding Excellence and First-Class membership cards from Syrian Chambers of Commerce.
In a press statement on Thursday, he emphasized that the decision represents a practical step reflecting the strength of brotherly relations between the two countries. He noted that it contributes to facilitating the movement of investors and businesspeople, enhancing the investment environment, and enabling them to manage their businesses and investments flexibly, thereby strengthening shared economic interests between Jordan and Syria.
Al-Bann expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the Hashemite leadership, the Jordanian government, and all entities that contributed to issuing this decision.
He affirmed that the Syrian-Jordanian Business Council will continue working and coordinating with official authorities in both countries to support initiatives that boost trade and investment and open broader horizons for economic cooperation, serving the interests of both brotherly nations and their peoples.
On Wednesday, the Ministry of Interior decided to allow family members of Syrian investors and businesspeople holding Excellence and First-Class membership cards issued by Syrian Chambers of Commerce to enter Jordanian territory without requiring prior approval.
