Government data published on Tuesday showed that Saudi Arabia’s annual average consumer price inflation rose by 2% in 2025 compared to the previous year.

The General Authority for Statistics attributed the increase to a 6.1% rise in housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuel prices, and a 1.1% increase in food and beverage prices, reflecting their relative weight in the consumer basket.
The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the annual average reached 103.6 in 2025, up 2% from 101.5 in 2024.
