The number of payment transactions executed through the “e-Fawateercom” system during January 2026 reached approximately 6.53 million, with a total value of 1.39 billion Jordanian dinars, according to the Jordanian Payment and Clearing Systems Company (JoPACC).

The report indicated that the total number of “e-Fawateercom” users reached 5.09 million by the end of January 2026, marking a 0.9% growth compared to December 2025, which had 5.06 million users, and 5 million users in November 2025.
The report added that the current number of active users reached 5.04 million, accounting for 99.1% of the total users, while new users numbered 46,200, representing 0.9%.
The number of billers using “e-Fawateercom” reached 686, while the total number of available services was 2,346.
The report noted a decline in transactions through the system in January to 6.53 million, down 7% from December 2025, which recorded 7.03 million transactions.
The telecommunications sector led the number of transactions with 1.98 million, followed by water and electricity at 1.76 million, government services at 1.61 million, wallet companies and payment service providers at 509,000, finance and financial services at 290,000, education at 132,000, unions and organizations at 64,000, transport and travel at 50,000, gas and energy at 36,000, and trade and services at 27,000 transactions.
Digital payments accounted for the majority of transactions in January, reaching 5.28 million transactions, or 80.9% of the total, compared to 1.25 million cash transactions, representing 19.1%.
The total value of transactions in January reached around JD 1.39 billion, marking a 12.8% decline compared to the previous month, which recorded JD 1.6 billion.
By value, government services led payments in January 2026 with JD 904 million, followed by wallet companies and payment service providers with JD 219 million, water and electricity at JD 77 million, finance and financial services at JD 58 million, education at JD 39 million, telecommunications at JD 33 million, gas and energy and banks at JD 16 million each, trade and services at JD 14 million, and unions and organizations at JD 7 million.
Regarding payment type, digital payments in January reached JD 1.15 billion, or 82.8% of total payments, while cash payments totaled JD 240 million, or 17.2%.
The average value of transactions via “e-Fawateercom” in January 2026 decreased to JD 213, compared to JD 228 in December 2025, and JD 216 in November 2025.
