Jordan’s Department of Statistics issued the preliminary results of the Economic Indicators Survey (Hatcheries Survey) for the third quarter of 2025, showing a 4% decline in broiler chicken prices in 2025 compared with 2024. The producer price of broiler chicken stood at JOD 1.20 per kilogram in 2025, down from JOD 1.25 per kilogram in 2024.

The results also indicated a 13% increase in broiler chicken production in 2025 compared with 2024, with total output reaching 118.7 million tons, up from 105 million tons in 2024.
At the same time, table egg production declined to 332 million eggs in 2025, compared with 349 million eggs in 2024, a decrease of 4.8%. In contrast, hatching egg production rose by 16.7%, reaching 122 million eggs in 2025, compared with 104.6 million eggs in 2024.
The price of table eggs reached 75 fils per egg in 2025, up from 71 fils per egg in 2024, an increase of 5.6%. The survey also showed a 12.8% rise in hatching egg prices, with the price reaching 212 fils per egg in 2025, compared with 188 fils per egg in 2024.
